Chris came today to install an ev charging point to the side of our premises. From the initial contact Chris made him self very professional, answered any questions I had and was more than happy explain how the system worked in detail. Cannot fault the guy or the company. Myenergi Eddi

3 EV charging modes:
ECO
The eco charge mode is a mixture of both green energy and energy imported from the grid. eco mode minimises the use of grid power, generally taking advantage of cheaper rates overnight, but can also charge using 100% green energy. This feature allows you to potentially charge your vehicle for free! The charging power adjusts in real-time to adapt to changes in energy generation or usage in your home.
However, if the excess energy generation falls below 1.4 kWh, some power will be drawn from the grid to maintain the desired level.
Eco+ charging is similar to eco charging in that it can use either your own energy source or electricity from the grid. The charging power is constantly adjusted based on fluctuations in energy generation or usage within your home. If too much imported power is present, the charging process for your electric vehicle will temporarily stop and resume only when surplus power is available.
Fast mode charges your vehicle at maximum power, using either renewable energy or electricity from the grid. The cost of charging an electric car varies based on multiple factors, including the charging mode and the specific vehicle.
If you do not have solar panels or wind energy, Zappi smart home charger will function like a standard Mode 3 charging point.
Note: The 'power supply cable length' refers to the cable running from your charge point to your power supply.
